Compressor Housing Buying Guide
Match compressor housings by cover geometry, outlet style and wheel clearance.
A compressor housing is usually replaced when the cover is cracked, corroded, damaged at the outlet, worn at the wheel contour or unsuitable for a clean rebuild. Selection depends on the compressor wheel profile, cover contour, inlet and outlet size, bolt pattern, recirculation features, sensor ports and actuator or bracket clearance. A visually similar cover can still create fitment or performance issues if the internal geometry is different.
For B2B orders, start with the turbo model or OE reference, then confirm the cold-side cover against the wheel and back plate being used in the rebuild. Photos of the inlet, outlet, bolt circle and inside contour help identify the right compressor housing before quantity is quoted.
